Tuesday's Tip of the Week

Round and Round We Go..............

As you can guess from the picture today's tip has to do with roundabouts.  Actually, I'm not sure that roundabouts is a word, but according to modot.mo.gov, it is.  I'm sure you would think that there can not be that much to tip on this topic.  True.  However, there seems to be a large portion of the population that has no idea how to use one of these, or at least where I live!

Here are some tips for using these:

Slow down before entering, most of these have a speed limit of 20 miles per hour.

Yield to traffic already in the roundabout.

Only enter in front of another vehicle if there is enough room ( I know I shouldn't have to say that)!

Vehicles in the roundabout do NOT have to yield to vehicles oncoming.

And last, but not least, my personal tip......please do not use your blinker, it's just pointless!
