Tuesday's Tip of the Week

Understanding the use of jumper cables.  I know I myself could use a brush up in this area as it's usually my hubby that does this.  But I know from circumstance that everyone should.

1.  Connect each end of the red grippers to the positive terminal of   both batteries.  This is usually indicated by the "+" sign or POS or the red color. 

                                                    2.  Connect the black grippers to the negative terminal of the good

                                                          battery.  This can be identified in a similar manner.

                                                    

                                                    3.  Connect the other black cable to the engine block. 

                                                    4.  Start the car and take cables off in reverse order.
