Tuesday's Tip of the Week

 Today's tip is keeping the bare essentials in your car.  These things are good for anyone to have in their car, but especially for women.  It's not always as safe for a woman to flag down someone for help. 

1.  License and registration.  This just makes common sense, but I guess you would be surprised.  These are also important if you get pulled over!

2.  Insurance card.  Again as I have mentioned in a previous post this is very important if you are in an accident.

3.  Spare tire.

4.  A jack.  Most cars will come with one, but some of the newer cars will hide these.

5.  Jumper cables.

6.  A spare battery would be handy if there was no other car there to jump you, (kind of pricey though).

7.  A flashlight.

8.  A tool to break a windshield.  Hopefully no one will need this, but with the water starting to rise around here, you never know.

9.  Last, always having a cell phone with you could prevent a lot of headaches. 

This reminds me that I need to check in my cars to make sure I have these things.  What do you take with you always in your cars?
