Tuesday's Tip of the Week

Everyone needs a reminder about things they know but maybe have forgotten.  I will make Tuesday's the day for those boring, but yet helpful reminders for schedules and maintenance for your vehicle.

Today's Tuesday tip is to check your tire pressure.  We all know that this can be important not only to further the life of your tires, but improving gas mileage and preventing a blow out as well.

You will need a pressure gauge.  Always check your tires when they are cold for the best reading.  Insert the gauge into the valve.  You will need to compare the PSI number to one the that should be on the sticker inside your door, if no longer there
check the owner's manual or perhaps the internet if that is misplaced.  Never check the number against the PSI on the inside of the tire.

I have to admit I do not do this as often as I should, usually I get better at this before a road trip.
