Continuation of the Auto Show
As stated on Thursday this was my first year attending the car show. For me, it was so overwhelming to see so many cars at one place. No worries though. I was able to calm myself down and basque in the nuances of all the new 2013 cars.
There are a couple of things that I noticed. Brown is back. Several models had a dark brown color vehicle on display. I have to admit, I kind of like it.
The new Eco-friendly cars are kind of cool, but still odd. An example of this is the Hyundai Veloster. This replaces the Tiburon. The styling was cool, however, it was small. The cargo area was awkward at best and the dash was really busy.
One of my favorite makeovers is the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle. The dropped the "New" from the title for starters. I love the redesign. The interior is just as nice. This model is actually a little bit bigger measuring 3.3 inches wider and 6 inches longer.
One thing that did surprise me was the cost of the sedans. These have gone through the roof . For example the Ford Taurus is running almost $40,000! The Honda Accord is inching up there as well. So I have to say that one of my favorite cars that has steadily held it's value but hasn't price gauged it's customer is the Toyota Camry. Well equipped it's still around $25,000. Isn't it sharp?
What about you, do you have any favorites for the 2013 season? Any thoughts on the car show?
